Almeida: «Es posible que compartan habitación Sánchez e Iglesias»

El alcalde de Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, ha señalado que espera que el presidente del Gobierno, Pedro Sánchez, «no pase de decir que no podría dormir si tuviera un gobierno con Pablo Iglesias a llegar al extremo de compartir habitación» con su ahora vicepresidente, en alusión a la reunión que mantiene Sánchez con sus ministros en la finca estatal de Quintos de Mora durante todo el día.
«Yo ya no descarto nada en Pedro Sánchez, un día te dice una cosa y otro día otra completamente distintas y quizás a lo mejor es hasta posible que compartan habitación Pedro Sánchez y Pablo Iglesias en esa comedia que están protagonizando desde el momento en que se dijeron que no se soportaban el uno al otro», ha manifestado Almeida en declaraciones a los medios durante su visita al centro temporal de acogida de refugiados instalado por el Ayuntamiento en el Ensanche de Vallecas.
«Esto empieza a parecer ya el dúo Pimpinela: Yo no puedo dormir porque te tengo aquí al lado y ahora sin embargo me voy contigo a pasar un fin de semana no voy a decir romántico pero sí idílico en Quintos de Mora para ver si conseguimos que este gobierno del desastre se pueda arrancar», ha agregado.
Tras la reunión de Sánchez con la alcaldesa de Barcelona, Ada Colau, Almeida ha pedido al presidente del Gobierno central que responda a sus cartas. «Yo no le estoy diciendo ya que se reúna conmigo, que me invite a Quintos de Mora a pasar un fin de semana con Pablo Iglesias, que me invite a dar un paseo en el Falcon o en el helicóptero, yo no le estoy diciendo nada de eso», ha señalado, para instarle a que, «por respeto a los madrileños», le diga a «uno de sus cargos de confianza» que «se moleste en redactar unas letras» para responder al alcalde de Madrid.

«Por una simple cuestión de respeto y cortesía no hacia el alcalde de Madrid sino hacia todos los madrileños, él no deja de ser un vecino de la villa y corte», ha indicado Almeida, quien ha recordado que Sánchez fue concejal del Ayuntamiento de Madrid, aunque «no se le conoce nada relevante» como tal, «no dejó un gran recuerdo ni una gran huella».
«En definitiva, lo que espero y a lo mejor me estoy equivocando es que Pedro Sánchez tenga un rasgo de educación», ha añadido Almeida, quien ha señalado que «no es una cuestión de que no le guste el alcalde de Madrid» y de que no le tenga «especial cariño y afecto», sino de que «no les tenga rencor a los madrileños».
