Pablo Iglesias rompe su cuarentena para acudir al Consejo de Ministros

El vicepresidente segundo del Gobierno, Pablo Iglesias, ha participado este sábado en el Consejo de Ministros extraordinario convocado para decretar el estado de alarma por el coronavirus. De este modo, ha interrumpido el proceso de cuarentena al que se había sometido, por estar en contacto con la ministra de Igualdad, Irene Montero, que ha dado positivo en las pruebas.
Fuentes de la vicepresidencia de Derechos Sociales que dirige Iglesias han explicado que finalmente no se ha habilitado la asistencia telemática para la reunión de este sábado. Por ello, dada la importancia de la reunión, y teniendo en cuenta que no tiene el virus, el vicepresidente ha acudido presencialmente, pero siguiendo «un protocolo sanitario, definido desde Moncloa», que asegurase que su asistencia era «perfectamente viable» y sin riesgo de posibles contagios.
Iglesias dio negativo en las pruebas por coronavirus que se realizó tras conocerse el positivo de Montero. No obstante, aseguró que aún así mantendría los 15 días de cuarentena, que dedicaría a «cuidar» de su familia y trabajar «por medios telemáticos» desde su casa.
Sin embargo, el líder de Podemos ha hecho finalmente un paréntesis en su cuarentena para asistir, tomando las precauciones necesarias, en el importante Consejo de Ministros de este sábado, que va a decretar el estado de alarma y a desarrollar las medidas necesarias para frenar la expansión del virus.

Dirigentes de Vox y de Ciudadanos han criticado a Iglesias por asistir presencialmente al Consejo de Ministros convocado para decretar el estado de alarma mientras está en cuarentena.
