Reabre el espacio aéreo del aeropuerto de Madrid-Barajas tras dos horas cerrado por la presencia de varios drones

El aeropuerto de Adolfo Suárez-Madrid Barajas ha reabierto su espacio aéreo después de permanecer cerrado al tráfico durante dos horas este lunes debido a la presencia de varios drones particulares. Desde Enaire, el gestor de la navegación aérea, habían activado el protocolo «Rate 0», que impide el despegue o aterrizaje de cualquier avión en el aeródromo. Este mismo organismo ha informado a ABC que fueron «dos pilotos los que han avistado los drones».
Ante esta situación, Enaire confirmaba que los aviones que se dirigían a Barajas habían sido redirigidos a otros aeropuertos españoles. Aena ha informado que 26 vuelos se han visto afectados por los desvíos. De ellos, se han derivado siete vuelos a Valencia, tres a Barcelona, dos a Alicante-Elche, dos a Valladolid y tres a Zaragoza.
La alerta fue activada a las 12.40 horas y se ha mantenido hasta las 14.40 horas. Esta información también fue confirmada por el Ministerio de Transportes, Movilidad y Agenda Urbana. Durante el cierre, solo permaneció operativa una pista, la 32L, para vuelos que «no pueden ser desviados». Poco a poco se está liberando el tráfico en las diferentes terminales, con miles de afectados, tanto en vuelos desviados como retrasados.
Enaire ha aprovechado para recordar que los drones «no son juguetes». Para volar un dron en espacio aéreo controlado se requiere previamente un estudio aeronáutico de seguridad que analice y mitigue los posibles riesgos y una vez obtenida la autorización de la Agencia Estatal de Seguridad Aérea (AESA), contactar con el Departamento de Coordinación Operativa de Espacio Aéreo de Enaire para coordinar su operación ([email protected]).
Sanción de 90.000 euros
Utilizar drones en las proximidades de un aeródromo es una infracción grave y las sanciones pueden alcanzar los 90.000 euros, tal y como ha informado la Agencia Estatal de Seguridad Aérea (AESA). Esta problemática, su regulación y sanciones está regulado por el Real Decreto de 15 de diciembre de 2017.
La Policía Nacional y la Guardia Civil está investigando lo sucedido y tratan de localizar al operador del dron que ha motivado el cierre del espacio aéreo. Fuentes de ambos cuerpos han informado a Efe que hay desplegadas patrullas en los alrededores del aeropuerto para localizar al piloto de la aeronave no tripulada.
