¿Qué sabemos del Gobierno de Sánchez con respecto a Venezuela? Que reconoció a Juan Guaidó como presidente legítimo y ahora se niega a recibirle en La Moncloa. Que ha incluido en su gabinete a cinco fanáticos del régimen chavista que lo han defendido a capa y espada, denigrando a la oposición y dando legitimidad al usurpador Maduro. Y en la cima de todo esto, las seis versiones distintas sobre el encuentro con Delcy Rodríguez, por boca del propio ministro José Luis Ábalos, al que no le importó ir dejándose a sí mismo en evidencia. Mintió en una entrevista a un periódico y mintió a una televisión y luego fue mintiendo cada vez que se le preguntaba.
Jueves 23 de enero
Ábalos negaba entonces «de manera rotunda» la información de su reunión con la vicepresidenta de Maduro en Barajas. Aseguraba que acudió al aeropuerto ese domingo para recoger a su amigo, el ministro venezolano de Turismo, Félix Plasencia.
Viernes 24 de enero
«Me reuní con el ministro de Turismo. ¿Quiere usted saber cuándo me he reunido con la oposición venezolana?, ¿le interesa? Pues como una docena de veces. ¿Quieres saber de qué hablamos? No, yo me reuní con el ministro de Turismo», apuntó Ábalos. En una segunda versión ese mismo día, aseguró que su amigo venezolano le pidió que saludara a su vicepresidenta en el avión y le recordó que «lamentablemente no podía entrar en España». Más tarde, en una tercera versión, admitió un contacto «fortuito», con la mandataria del régimen chavista, casi por casualidad. «Un saludo forzado por las circunstancias». Coincidieron dentro de la aeronave y aclaró que se vieron «unos minutos».
Sábado 25 de enero
Nueva versión del secretario de Organización socialista. En una entrevista en «La Razón», explica que «llegando al aeropuerto» recibió una llamada del ministro del Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, para informarle de que en ese vuelo viajaba también la «número dos» de Maduro. Marlaska, según Ábalos, le dice «ya que vas, procura que no se baje del avión».
Domingo 26 de enero
Quinta versión. Ábalos asegura en una entrevista en La Sexta que hubo un encuentro con la vicepresidenta venezolana que se alargó «durante 20 o 25 minutos», tiempo en el que, según él, se limitó a transmitir la inquietud del Gobierno y recordarle que no podía pisar suelo español. «Subí al avión, me la presentaron, le dije que era una situación un poco violenta. No abordé con ella absolutamente ningún tema. Si yo quisiera reunirme, hay otros sitios», afirmó.
Viernes 31 de enero
Sexta y, por ahora, última versión del sainete de madrugada en el aeropuerto de Madrid Barajas. Ábalos admite que no solo se entrevistó durante 20 o 25 minutos con Delcy Rodríguez en el interior del avión, sino que también estuvo con ella en la sala VIP de la terminal ejecutiva del aeropuerto de Barajas.
